1. Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
Gen 15.2-3
And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? ;Gen 21.9
And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. ;Gal 4.24
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. ;
2. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
Gen 30.3
And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. ;Gen 20.18
For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife. ;Gen 30.2
And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb? ;1Sam 1.5-6
But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. ;Gen 30.3-9

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; ;
3. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
Gen 12.5
And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. ;
4. And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
2Sam 6.16
And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart. ;Prov 30.21-23
For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear: ;
5. And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.
Gen 31.53
The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac. ;1Sam 24.12
The LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee. ;
6. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
Prov 15.1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. ;1Pet 3.7

7. And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
Gen 25.18
And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren. ;Ex 15.22
So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. ;
8. And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.
9. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
Tit 2.9
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; ;1Pet 2.18
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. ;
10. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
Gen 17.20
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. ;Gen 21.18
Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. ;Gen 25.12
Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham: ;
