21. This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
PlWhat thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? ;
Iov 16.4I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you. ;
Ps 22.7-8All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, ;
PlAll that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? ;
SMS 22. Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
Ps 71.22I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. ;
Isa 5.24Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. ;

SMS 23. 2Imp 20.8And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day? ;
Isa 7.11-14Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. ;
Luc 2.12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. ;
SMS 30. And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
2Cron 32.22-23Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side. ;
