1. Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD. ;Ps 93.1
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. ;

2. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. ;Isa 40.22

3. Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

4. Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. ;2Imp 6.17
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. ;

5. Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. ;Iov 38.4-6
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. ;Ps 24.2
For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. ;Ps 136.6

One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. ;

6. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

7. At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
Gen 8.1
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged; ;

8. They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

9. Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

10. He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
