1. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
Ps 83.1
Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. ;

2. For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

3. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
Ps 35.7
For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. ;Ps 69.4
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. ;Ioan 15.25
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. ;

4. For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

5. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
Ps 35.7-12

They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is. ;

6. Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
Zah 3.1

7. When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
Prov 28.9
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. ;

8. Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
Fapt 1.20
For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. ;

9. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Ex 22.24
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. ;

10. Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
