1. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Ps 128.1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. ;
Ps 119.16-143I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. ;
2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Ps 25.13His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. ;
Ps 37.26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. ;
Ps 102.28The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. ;
3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Mat 6.33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ;
4. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Iov 11.17And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. ;
Ps 97.11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. ;
5. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Ps 37.26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. ;
Luc 6.35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. ;

7. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
Prov 1.33But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. ;
Ps 57.7My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. ;
Ps 64.10The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. ;
8. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

Ps 59.10The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies. ;
Ps 118.7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. ;
9. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
2Cor 9.9(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. ;
Deut 24.13In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God. ;
Ps 112.3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. ;
Ps 75.10All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. ;
10. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
Luc 13.28There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. ;
Ps 37.12The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. ;
Ps 58.7-8Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. ;
Prov 10.28The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. ;
Prov 11.7When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth. ;
