1. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Isa 2.3
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ;Zah 8.21
And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. ;

2. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
2Sam 5.9
So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. ;

4. Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
Ex 23.17
Three items in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God. ;Deut 16.16
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: ;Ex 16.34
As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. ;

5. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
Deut 17.8
If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose; ;2Cron 19.8
Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem. ;

6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Ps 51.18
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. ;

7. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
Neem 2.10
When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel. ;
