1. Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
Ps 92.1
IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH: ;Ps 135.3
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant. ;Ps 33.1
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. ;SMS

2. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
Ps 102.16
When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. ;Deut 30.3
That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. ;SMS

3. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Ps 51.17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. ;Isa 57.15
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. ;Isa 61.1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; ;Luc 4.18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, ;SMS

4. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
Gen 15.5
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. ;Isa 40.26
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. ;SMS

5. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
1Cron 16.25
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. ;Ps 48.1

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. ;SMS

6. The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: ;SMS

7. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

8. Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

9. He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season. ;Ps 136.25
Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever. ;Ps 145.15

10. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. ;Osea 1.7
But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. ;SMS
