1. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2. Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
Ps 20.5-6
We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. ;Ps 20.4-5
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. ;

3. For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
2Sam 12.30
And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance. ;1Cron 20.2
And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city. ;

4. He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
Ps 61.5-6
For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. ;2Sam 7.19
And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD? ;Ps 91.16
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. ;

5. His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

6. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
Ps 16.11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. ;Ps 45.7
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. ;Fapt 2.28
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. ;

7. For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Ps 16.8
I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. ;

8. Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
1Sam 31.3
And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers. ;

9. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
Mal 4.1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. ;Ps 56.1-2
Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. ;Ps 18.8
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. ;Isa 26.11
LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them. ;

10. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
1Imp 13.34
And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth. ;Iov 18.16-19
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. ;Ps 37.28
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. ;Ps 109.13
Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. ;Isa 14.20
Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. ;
