1. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
Ps 86.4Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. ;
Ps 143.8Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. ;
PlLet us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens. ;
2. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Ps 22.5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. ;
Ps 31.1In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. ;
Ps 34.8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ;
Isa 28.16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. ;
Isa 49.23And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. ;
Rom 10.11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. ;
Ps 13.4Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. ;
3. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Ex 33.13Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. ;
Ps 5.8Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. ;
Ps 27.11Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. ;
Ps 86.11Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. ;
Ps 119Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. ;

5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Ps 103.17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; ;
Ps 106.1Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. ;

7. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
Iov 13.26For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth. ;
Iov 20.11His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust. ;
Ier 3.25We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God. ;
Ps 51.1Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. ;
8. Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
