11. Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
Rom 8.36
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. ;Deut 4.27
And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. ;Deut 28.64
And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. ;Ps 60.1
O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again. ;

12. Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
Isa 52.3-4
For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. ;Ier 15.13
Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders. ;

13. Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
Deut 1.28-37
Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. ;Ps 79.4
We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. ;Ps 80.6
Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves. ;

14. Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
Ier 24.9
And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. ;2Imp 19.21
This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee. ;Iov 16.4
I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you. ;Ps 22.7
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, ;

15. My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,

16. For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
Ps 8.2
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. ;

17. All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
Dan 9.13
As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. ;

18. Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
Iov 23.11
My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. ;Ps 119.51-157
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law. ;

19. Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
Isa 34.13
And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls. ;Isa 35.7
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. ;Ps 23.4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ;

20. If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; ;Ps 68.31
Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. ;
