1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Ps 62.7-8
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. ;Ps 91.2
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. ;Ps 142.5
I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. ;Deut 4.7
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? ;Ps 145.18
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. ;SMS

2. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Ps 93.3-4
The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. ;Ier 5.22

4. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Isa 8.7
Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: ;Ps 48.1-8
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. ;Isa 60.14

5. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Deut 23.14
For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee. ;Isa 12.6
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. ;Ezec 43.7-9
And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. ;Osea 11.9
I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. ;Ioel 2.27

6. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Ps 2.1
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? ;Ios 2.9-24
And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. ;SMS

7. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Ps 46.11
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. ;Num 14.9
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. ;2Cron 13.12
And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper. ;SMS

8. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
Ps 66.5
Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. ;SMS

9. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
Isa 2.4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. ;Ps 76.3
There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah. ;Ezec 39.9
And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: ;SMS

10. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Isa 2.11-17
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. ;SMS
