11. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
1Imp 9.7
Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: ;Ier 24.9
And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. ;
12. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
Iov 30.9
And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword. ;Ps 35.15-16

15. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

18. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
19. Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. ;Isa 53.3
