1. O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. ;Ps 60.1-10
O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again. ;Ps 77.7
Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? ;Ier 31.37
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. ;Ier 33.24
Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. ;Deut 29.20
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. ;Ps 95.7
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, ;Ps 100.3
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. ;

2. Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
