1. In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
Ps 48.1
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. ;
2. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
Ps 46.9
He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. ;Ezec 39.9
And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: ;
4. Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
Ezec 38.12-13
To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. ;Ezec 39.4
Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. ;
5. The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
Isa 46.12

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; ;Ier 51.39
In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD. ;
6. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7. Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
Nah 1.6
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. ;
8. Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
Ezec 38.20
So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. ;2Cron 20.29-30
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel. ;
9. When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
Ps 9.7-9
But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. ;Ps 72.4
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. ;
10. Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
Ex 9.16
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to show in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. ;Ex 18.11
Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them. ;Ps 65.7
