1. O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
Deut 32.35
To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. ;Nah 1.2
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. ;SMS

2. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Ps 7.6
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. ;Gen 18.25
That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? ;SMS

3. LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
Iov 20.5
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? ;SMS

4. How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
Ps 31.18
Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. ;SMS

5. They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

9. He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
Ex 4.11
And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? ;Prov 20.12
The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them. ;SMS

10. He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
Iov 35.11
Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? ;Isa 28.26
For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. ;SMS
