1. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
Ex 2.16
Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock. ;Ex 18.5
And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God: ;1Imp 19.8
And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. ;

2. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Deut 33.16
And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. ;Isa 63.9
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. ;Fapt 7.30
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. ;

3. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
Ps 111.2
The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. ;Fapt 7.31
When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the LORD came unto him, ;

4. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Deut 33.16

5. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. ;Fapt 7.33
Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground. ;

6. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
Gen 28.13
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; ;Ex 3.15
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. ;Ex 4.5
That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. ;Mat 22.32

7. And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
Ex 2.23-25
And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. ;Neem 9.9
And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea; ;Ps 106.44
Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: ;Fapt 7.34
I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt. ;Ex 1.11
Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. ;Gen 18.21
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. ;Ex 2.25
And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them. ;

8. And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Gen 11.5-7
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. ;Gen 18.21
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. ;Gen 50.24

9. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Ex 2.23
And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. ;Ex 1.11-22

10. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
