21. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
Ps 32.10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. ;
22. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Iov 27.16-17Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; ;
Prov 28.8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor. ;
Ecl 2.26For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. ;
23. Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
Prov 12.11He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. ;
24. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Prov 19.18Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. ;
Prov 22.15Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. ;
Prov 23.13Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. ;
Prov 29.15-17The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. ;
25. The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
Ps 34.10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. ;
Ps 37.3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. ;
