21. He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
Prov 15.9
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. ;Mat 5.6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. ;

22. A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: ;

23. Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. ;Prov 18.21

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. ;

24. Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

25. The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
Prov 13.4
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. ;

26. He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. ;Ps 112.9
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. ;

27. The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. ;Isa 66.3
He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. ;Ier 6.20
To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. ;Amos 5.22
Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. ;

28. A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
Prov 19.5-9
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. ;

29. A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

30. There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
Isa 8.9-10
Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. ;Ier 9.23
