1. Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
Zah 2.13
Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. ;

2. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
Isa 46.11
Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. ;Gen 14.14
And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. ;Isa 41.25
I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay. ;Isa 45.1
Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; ;

3. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

4. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isa 41.26
Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words. ;Isa 44.7
And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. ;Isa 46.10
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ;Isa 43.10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. ;Isa 44.6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. ;Isa 48.12
Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. ;Apoc 1.17
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: ;Apoc 22.13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. ;

5. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.

6. They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
Isa 40.19
The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains. ;Isa 44.12
The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint. ;

7. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
Isa 40.19

He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved. ;

8. But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
Deut 7.6
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. ;Deut 10.15
Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. ;Deut 14.2
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. ;Ps 135.4
For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure. ;Isa 43.1
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. ;Isa 44.1
Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: ;2Cron 20.7
Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? ;Iac 2.23
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. ;

9. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isa 41.13-14
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. ;Isa 43.5
Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; ;Deut 31.6-8
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. ;
