1. Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
Isa 41.13
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. ;Isa 41.2
Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. ;Dan 5.30
In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. ;

2. I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
Isa 40.4
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: ;Ps 107.16
For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. ;

3. And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. ;

4. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: ;

5. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. ;Deut 32.39
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. ;Isa 44.8

Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. ;Ps 18.32-39
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. ;

6. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. ;Isa 37.20
Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only. ;Mal 1.11
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. ;

7. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3.6
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? ;

8. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
Ps 72.3
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. ;Ps 85.11
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. ;

9. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
Isa 64.8
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. ;Isa 29.16
Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? ;Ier 18.6
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. ;Rom 9.20
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? ;

10. Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
