1. For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.
Ier 37.21
Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison. ;Ier 38.9
My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city. ;Lev 26.26
And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. ;
2. The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

Ecl 10.16
Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! ;
5. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
6. When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
7. In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
8. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
Mic 3.12
Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. ;
9. The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Gen 13.13
But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. ;Gen 18.20-21
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; ;Gen 19.5
And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. ;
10. Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Ecl 8.12
Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: ;Ps 128.2
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. ;
