11. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
Ier 14.3-4
And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads. ;SMS

12. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
Ioel 1.10
The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. ;Isa 24.11
There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. ;Ier 48.33

13. Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
Ier 4.8
For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us. ;Ioel 1.8
Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. ;Ioel 1.9
The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn. ;SMS

14. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
2Cron 20.3-4
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. ;Ioel 2.15-16
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: ;Lev 23.36
Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. ;2Cron 20.13
And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. ;SMS

15. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
Ier 30.7
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. ;Isa 13.6-9
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. ;Ioel 2.1
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; ;SMS

16. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: ;Deut 16.11-15
And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there. ;SMS

17. The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

18. How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

19. O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone. ;Ioel 2.3
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. ;SMS

20. The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
