1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
Gen 17.8
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. ;Deut 1.7
Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. ;Ps 78.55
He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents. ;Ps 105.11
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: ;Ezec 47.14
And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance. ;

3. Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
Ios 15.1
This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast. ;Ezec 47.13
Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. ;Gen 14.3
All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. ;Ios 15.2
And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: ;

4. And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
Ios 15.3
And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: ;Num 13.26
And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. ;Num 32.8
Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land. ;Ios 15.3-4
And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: ;

5. And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
Gen 15.18
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: ;Ios 15.4-47
From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast. ;1Imp 8.65
And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. ;Isa 27.12
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. ;

6. And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

7. And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
Num 33.37
And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom. ;

8. From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
Num 13.21
So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath. ;2Imp 14.25
He restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of the LORD God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet, which was of Gathhepher. ;Ezec 47.15
And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; ;

9. And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
Ezec 47.17
And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side. ;

10. And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
