21. And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
1Imp 8.13
I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. ;2Cron 6.2
But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever. ;Ps 26.8
LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. ;Ps 132.14
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. ;

22. And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
Ps 11.4
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. ;Mat 5.34
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: ;Fapt 7.49
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? ;

23. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. ;Mat 12.7
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. ;

25. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables. ;Luc 11.39
And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. ;

27. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
