1. And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
Mat 24.1
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. ;Luc 21.2
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. ;
2. And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Luc 19.44
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. ;
3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4. Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
Mat 24.3
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? ;Luc 21.7
And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? ;
5. And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
Ier 29.8
For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. ;Efes 5.6
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. ;1Tes 2.3
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: ;
6. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Mat 24.8
All these are the beginning of sorrows. ;
9. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
Mat 10.17-18
But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; ;Mat 24.9
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. ;Apoc 2.10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. ;
10. And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
Mat 24.14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. ;
