1. After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Mat 10.1
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. ;Marc 6.7
And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; ;
2. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Mat 9.37-38
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; ;Ioan 4.35
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. ;2Tes 3.1
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: ;
3. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Mat 10.16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. ;
4. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
Mat 10.9-10
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, ;Marc 6.8
And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: ;Luca 9.3
And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. ;2Imp 4.29
Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child. ;
5. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
Mat 10.12
And when ye come into an house, salute it. ;
6. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
Mat 10.11
And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. ;1Cor 10.27
If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. ;Mat 10.10
Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. ;1Cor 9.4
Have we not power to eat and to drink? ;1Tim 5.18
For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. ;
8. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Luca 9.2
And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. ;Mat 3.2
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ;Mat 4.17
