1. What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2. Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Deut 4.7-8For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? ;
Ps 147.19-20He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. ;
Rom 2.18And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; ;
Rom 9.4Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; ;
3. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Rom 10.16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? ;
Evr 4.2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. ;
Num 23.19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? ;
Rom 9.6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: ;

4. God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Iov 40.8Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? ;
Ioan 3.33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. ;
Ps 62.9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. ;
Ps 116.11I said in my haste, All men are liars. ;
Ps 51.4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. ;
5. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
Rom 6.19I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. ;
Gal 3.15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. ;
6. God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
Gen 18.25That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? ;
Iov 8.3Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? ;
Iov 34.17Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just? ;
7. For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8. And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
Rom 5.20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: ;
Rom 6.1-15What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ;
9. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3.23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ;
Gal 3.22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. ;
10. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
