1. Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
Fapt 15.20-29
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. ;1Cor 10.19
What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? ;Rom 14.14-22
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. ;Rom 14.3-10

2. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

3. But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. ;Mat 7.23

4. As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
Isa 41.24
Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you. ;1Cor 10.19
What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? ;Deut 4.39
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. ;Deut 6.4

7. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
1Cor 10.28-29

8. But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

9. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
Gal 5.13
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ;Rom 14.13-20
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. ;SMS
10. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
