1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Iov 4.19
How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth? ;2Cor 4.7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. ;2Pet 1.13-14
Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; ;
2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
Rom 8.23
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ;
3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
Apoc 3.18
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. ;Apoc 16.15
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. ;
4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
1Cor 15.53-54
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ;
5. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Isa 29.23
But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. ;Efes 2.10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. ;Rom 8.23
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ;2Cor 1.22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. ;Efes 1.14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. ;Efes 4.30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. ;
6. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Rom 8.24-25
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? ;1Cor 13.12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. ;2Cor 4.18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. ;Evr 11.1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ;
8. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Filip 1.23
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: ;
9. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Mat 25.31-32
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: ;Rom 14.10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ;Rom 2.6
Who will render to every man according to his deeds: ;Gal 6.7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ;Efes 6.8
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. ;Col 3.24-25
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. ;Apoc 22.12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. ;

"Când o ușă se închide, o alta se deschide; dar deseori ne uităm atât de mult la ușa închisă că nu o mai vedem pe cea care s-a deschis pentru noi.”
