1. Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
Fapt 15.2When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. ;
2. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
Fapt 15.12Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. ;
Filip 2.16Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. ;
1Tes 3.5For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain. ;
3. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4. And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
Fapt 15.1-24And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. ;
2Cor 11.26In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; ;
Gal 3.25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. ;
Gal 5.1-13Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. ;
2Cor 11.20For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. ;
Gal 4.3-9Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: ;
5. To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
Gal 2.14But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? ;
Gal 3.1O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? ;
Gal 4.16Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? ;
6. But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
Gal 6.3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. ;
Fapt 10.34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: ;
Rom 2.11For there is no respect of persons with God. ;
2Cor 12.11I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. ;
7. But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
Fapt 13.46Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. ;
Rom 1.5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: ;
Rom 11.13For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: ;
1Tim 2.7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. ;
2Tim 1.11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. ;
1Tes 2.4But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. ;
8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
Fapt 9.15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: ;
Fapt 13.2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. ;
Fapt 22.21And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles. ;
Fapt 26.17-18Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, ;
1Cor 15.10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. ;
Gal 1.16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: ;
Col 1.29Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. ;
Gal 3.5He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ;
9. And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Mat 16.18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. ;
Efes 2.20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; ;
Apoc 21.14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ;
Rom 1.5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: ;
Rom 12.3-6For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. ;
Rom 15.15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, ;
1Cor 15.10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. ;
Efes 3.8Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; ;
10. Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
Fapt 11.30Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. ;
Fapt 24.17Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings. ;
Rom 15.25But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. ;
1Cor 16.1Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. ;
2Cor 8.1-9.15Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; ;
