1. Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;
1Tes 3.5For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain. ;
Fapt 17.5But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. ;
2. And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
Rom 16.21Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you. ;
1Cor 16.10Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. ;
2Cor 1.19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. ;
3. That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
Efes 3.13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. ;
Fapt 9.16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. ;
Fapt 14.22Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. ;

4. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
Fapt 20.24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. ;

1Cor 7.5Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. ;
2Cor 11.3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. ;

6. But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Fapt 18.1-5After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; ;
Filip 1.8For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. ;
7. Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
2Cor 1.4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. ;
2Cor 7.6-13Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; ;
8. For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
Filip 4.1Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. ;
9. For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
1Tes 1.2We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; ;
10. Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
Fapt 26.7Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. ;
2Tim 1.3I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; ;
Rom 1.10-11Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. ;
Rom 15.32That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. ;
1Tes 2.17But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire. ;
2Cor 13.9-11For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. ;
