1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
1Tes 4.16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ;Mat 24.31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. ;Marc 13.27
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. ;1Tes 4.17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ;SMS

2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. ;Efes 5.6
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. ;1Ioan 4.1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. ;SMS

3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ;1Ioan 2.18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. ;Apoc 13.11
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. ;Ioan 17.12
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. ;SMS

4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Isa 14.13
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: ;Ezec 28.2-9
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: ;Dan 7.25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ;Dan 11.36
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. ;Apoc 13.6
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. ;1Cor 8.5
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) ;SMS

5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
1Ioan 2.18

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. ;SMS

8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. ;Iov 4.9
By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed. ;Isa 11.4
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. ;Osea 6.5
Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. ;Apoc 2.16
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. ;Apoc 19.15-21
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ;2Tes 1.8-9
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: ;Evr 10.27
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ;SMS

9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Ioan 8.41

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: ;Apoc 18.23
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. ;Deut 13.1
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, ;Mat 24.24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ;Apoc 13.13
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ;Apoc 19.20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ;SMS

10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Cor 2.15
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: ;2Cor 4.3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: ;SMS
