11. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1Tim 6.15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; ;
1Cor 9.17For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. ;
Gal 2.7But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; ;
Col 1.25Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; ;
1Tes 2.4But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. ;
1Tim 2.7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. ;
2Tim 1.11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. ;
Tit 1.3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; ;
12. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
2Cor 12.9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ;
1Cor 7.25Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. ;
2Cor 3.5-6Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; ;

15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1Tim 3.1This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. ;
1Tim 4.9This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. ;
2Tim 2.11It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: ;
Tit 3.8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. ;
Mat 9.13But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. ;
Marc 2.17When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. ;
Luc 5.32I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. ;
Luc 19.10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. ;
Rom 5.8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ;

16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
2Cor 4.1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; ;
Fapt 13.39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. ;
17. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Ps 10.16The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. ;
Ps 145.13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. ;
Dan 7.14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. ;

18. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
1Tim 6.13-20I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; ;
2Tim 2.2And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. ;
1Tim 4.14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. ;
1Tim 6.12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. ;
2Tim 2.3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ;
2Tim 4.7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: ;
19. Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
1Tim 3.9Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. ;
1Tim 6.9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. ;
20. Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
2Tim 2.17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; ;
2Tim 4.14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: ;
1Cor 5.5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. ;
Fapt 13.45But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. ;
