1. Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
Efes 6.5
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; ;Col 3.22
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; ;Tit 2.9
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; ;1Pet 2.18
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. ;Isa 52.5

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. ;Tit 2.5-8
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. ;
2. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
Col 4.1
Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. ;1Tim 4.11
These things command and teach. ;
3. If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

4. He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1Cor 8.2
And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. ;1Tim 1.7
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. ;1Tim 1.4
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. ;2Tim 2.23
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. ;Tit 3.9
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. ;
5. Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Cor 11.16
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. ;1Tim 1.6
From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; ;2Tim 3.8
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. ;Tit 1.11
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. ;2Pet 2.3
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. ;
6. But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Rom 16.17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. ;2Tim 3.5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. ;
7. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
Ps 37.16
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. ;Prov 15.16
Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. ;Prov 16.8
Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. ;Evr 13.5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. ;
8. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Iov 1.21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. ;Ps 49.17
For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. ;Prov 27.24

9. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
