11. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pet 3.19

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: ;SMS
12. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Dan 9.24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. ;Dan 12.9-13
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. ;Evr 11.13-40
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. ;Fapt 2.4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ;Ex 25.20
And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be. ;Dan 8.13

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, ;SMS
13. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Luc 12.35
Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; ;Efes 6.14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; ;Luc 21.34
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. ;Rom 13.13
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. ;1Tes 5.6-8
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. ;1Pet 4.7
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. ;1Pet 5.8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: ;Luc 17.30
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. ;1Cor 1.7
So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: ;2Tes 1.7
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, ;SMS
14. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
Rom 12.2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ;1Pet 4.2
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. ;Fapt 17.30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: ;1Tes 4.5
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: ;SMS
15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Luc 1.74
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, ;2Cor 7.1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. ;1Tes 4.3-7
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: ;Evr 12.14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: ;2Pet 3.11
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, ;SMS
16. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Lev 11.44
For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. ;Lev 19.2
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy. ;Lev 20.7
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. ;SMS
17. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: ;Fapt 10.34
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: ;Rom 2.11
For there is no respect of persons with God. ;2Cor 7.1

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; ;SMS
18. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. ;1Cor 7.23
