1. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Rom 1.12
That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. ;2Cor 4.13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; ;Efes 4.5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, ;Tit 1.4

2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Dan 4.1
Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. ;Dan 6.25

3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, ;1Pet 2.9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; ;1Pet 3.9
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. ;SMS
4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Cor 7.1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. ;2Cor 3.18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. ;Efes 4.24
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. ;Ev 12.10
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. ;1Ioan 3.2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. ;2Pet 2.18-20
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. ;SMS
5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pet 3.18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. ;1Pet 3.7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. ;SMS
6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Gal 6.10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. ;1Tes 3.12
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: ;1Tes 5.15
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. ;1Ioan 4.21
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. ;SMS
8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ioan 15.2
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. ;Tit 3.14
And let our's also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. ;SMS
9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
1Ioan 2.9-11
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. ;Efes 5.26
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ;Evr 9.14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ;1Ioa 1.7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ;SMS
10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
1Ioan 3.19
And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. ;2Pet 3.17
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. ;SMS
