11. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Ioan 2.25

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ;

12. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. ;Ioan 5.24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. ;

13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. ;1Ioan 1.1-2
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; ;

14. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. ;

15. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

16. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, ;Evr 10.26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, ;Ier 7.16
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. ;Ier 14.11

17. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
1Ioan 3.4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. ;

18. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. ;1Ioan 3.9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. ;Iac 1.27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. ;

19. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Gal 1.4
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: ;

20. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Luc 24.45
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, ;Ioan 17.3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ;Isa 9.6

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. ;Tit 2.13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; ;Evr 1.8
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. ;1Ioan 5.11-13
