1. Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
1Cron 11.1Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. ;
1Cron 12.23And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD. ;
Gen 29.14And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month. ;
SMS 2. Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
1Sam 18.13Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. ;
1Sam 16.1-12And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. ;

SMS 3. So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
1Cron 11.3Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel. ;
2Imp 11.17And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD's people; between the king also and the people. ;
Jud 11.11Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh. ;
1Sam 23.17And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. ;
SMS 4. David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
SMS 5. In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
2Sam 2.11And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months. ;
1Cron 3.4These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years. ;
SMS 6. And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.
Jud 1.21And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day. ;
Ios 15.63As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day. ;
Jud 1.8Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire. ;
Jud 19.11-12And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it. ;
SMS 7. Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.
2Sam 5.9So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. ;
1Imp 2.10So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David. ;
1Imp 8.1Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. ;
SMS 8. And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind that are hated of David's soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
1Cron 11.6-9And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief. ;
SMS 9. So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.
2Sam 5.7Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. ;
SMS 10. And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him.
