11. And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.

They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: ;

12. Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

13. He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.
Ex 14.21
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. ;Ex 15.8
And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. ;Ps 33.7
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. ;

14. In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
Ex 13.21
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: ;Ex 14.24
And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, ;Ps 105.39
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night. ;

15. He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.
Ex 17.6
Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. ;Num 20.11
And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. ;Ps 105.41
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river. ;1Cor 10.4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. ;

16. He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.
Deut 9.21
And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. ;Ps 105.41

17. And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.
