1. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

2. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

3. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

4. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
Lev 23.24
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. ;Num 10.10
Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God. ;

5. This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
Ps 114.1
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; ;

6. I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.
Isa 9.4
For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. ;Isa 10.27
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. ;Ex 1.14
And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor. ;

7. Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
Ex 2.23
And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. ;Ex 14.10
And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. ;Ps 50.15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. ;Ex 19.19
And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. ;Ex 17.6-7
Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. ;Num 20.13
This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them. ;

8. Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
Ps 50.7
Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. ;

9. There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
Deut 32.12
So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. ;Isa 43.12
I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. ;Ex 20.3-5
Thou shalt have no other gods before me. ;

10. I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Ex 20.2
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ;Ps 37.3-4
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. ;Ioan 15.7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. ;Efes 3.20
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, ;
