1. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
4. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
Lev 23.24Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. ;
Num 10.10Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God. ;
5. This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
Ps 114.1When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; ;
6. I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.
Isa 9.4For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. ;
Isa 10.27And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. ;
Ex 1.14And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor. ;
7. Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
Ex 2.23And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. ;

Ex 19.19And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. ;
Ex 17.6-7Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. ;
Num 20.13This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them. ;
8. Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
Ps 50.7Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. ;
9. There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
Deut 32.12So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. ;
Isa 43.12I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. ;
Ex 20.3-5Thou shalt have no other gods before me. ;
10. I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Ex 20.2I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ;
Ps 37.3-4Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. ;
