1. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
Ps 101.1
I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing. ;Ps 119.89
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. ;

2. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

3. I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel. ;Isa 42.1

7. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? ;Ps 76.11
Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. ;

8. O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ;1Sam 2.2
There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. ;Ps 35.10

9. Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. ;Ps 107.29
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. ;

10. Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. ;Ps 87.4
