1. And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
Ex 32.16-19
And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. ;Deut 10.1
At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. ;Ex 34.28
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. ;Deut 10.2-4

2. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
Ex 19.20
And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up. ;Ex 24.12
And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. ;SMS

3. And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
Ex 19.12-21
And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: ;SMS

4. And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

5. And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
Ex 33.19
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. ;Num 14.17

6. And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Num 14.18
The LORD is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. ;2Cron 30.9
For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him. ;Neem 9.17
And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not. ;Ps 86.15

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. ;Ps 31.19
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! ;Rom 2.4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? ;Ps 57.10
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. ;Ps 108.4

7. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity. ;Mic 6.11
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights? ;Nah 1.3
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. ;SMS

8. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
Ex 4.31
And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. ;SMS

9. And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
Ex 33.15-16
And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. ;Ex 33.3
Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way. ;Deut 32.9
For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. ;Ps 28.9
Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. ;Ps 33.12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. ;Ps 78.62

10. And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
Deut 5.2
The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. ;Deut 29.12-14
That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day: ;Deut 4.32
For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? ;2Sam 7.23
And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? ;Ps 77.14
Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. ;Ps 78.12
Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. ;Ps 147.20
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD. ;Deut 10.21
He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen. ;Ps 145.6
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. ;Isa 64.3
When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. ;SMS
