1. The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

3. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
1Sam 15.22
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. ;Ps 50.8
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. ;Prov 15.8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. ;Isa 1.11

4. An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

5. The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. ;SMS

6. The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. ;Prov 20.21

7. The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

10. The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
