1. Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
Deut 24.1
When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. ;Ier 3.8
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. ;Osea 2.2

3. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

4. The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. ;
7. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Ezec 3.8-9
Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. ;
8. He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
Rom 8.32-34
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ;
9. Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
Iov 13.28
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten. ;Ps 102.26

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ;2Cron 20.20

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. ;
