1. I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. ;Efes 2.12-13
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ;Isa 63.19
We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name. ;

2. I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
Rom 10.21
But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. ;

3. A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
Deut 32.21
They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. ;Isa 1.29
For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. ;Isa 66.17
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. ;Lev 17.5
To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD. ;

4. Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
Deut 18.11
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. ;Isa 66.17
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. ;Lev 11.7
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. ;

5. Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. ;

6. Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
Deut 32.34
Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures? ;Mal 3.16
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. ;Ps 50.3
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. ;Ps 79.12
And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord. ;Ier 16.18
And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. ;Ezec 11.21
But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD. ;

7. Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
Ex 20.5
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; ;Ezec 18.6
And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, ;Ezec 20.27-28
Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. ;

8. Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
Ioel 2.14
Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? ;

9. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
Isa 65.15-22
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name: ;Mat 24.22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. ;Rom 11.5-7
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ;

10. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
Isa 33.9
The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits. ;Isa 35.2
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God. ;Ios 7.24-26
