1. O israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
Osea 12.6

2. Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. ;
3. Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
Ier 31.18
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. ;Osea 5.13

4. I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

5. I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
Iov 29.19
My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. ;Prov 19.12
The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass. ;
6. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

7. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. ;
