1. The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
SMS 2. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
Deut 7.8But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. ;
Deut 10.15Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. ;
Rom 9.13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. ;
SMS 3. And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Lev 22.22Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD. ;

Mal 1.14But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. ;
Iov 42.8Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. ;
SMS 9. And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
Osea 13.9O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help. ;
SMS 10. Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
1Cor 9.13Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? ;
Isa 1.11To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. ;
Ier 6.20To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. ;
Amos 5.21I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. ;
