1. These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2. And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3. And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
Ex 12.37And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. ;
Ex 12.2This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. ;
Ex 13.4This day came ye out in the month Abib. ;
Ex 14.8And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. ;
4. For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
Ex 12.29And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. ;
Ex 12.12For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. ;
Ex 18.11Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them. ;
Isa 19.1The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. ;
Apoc 12.8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. ;
5. And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
Ex 12.37And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. ;
6. And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7. And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
Ex 14.2-9Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. ;
8. And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
Ex 14.22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. ;
Ex 15.22-23So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. ;
9. And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
Ex 15.27And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. ;
10. And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
