1. And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

3. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Luc 6.20
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. ;Ps 51.17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. ;Prov 16.19

7. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
