11. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
1Tim 1.15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. ;Rom 6.5-8
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: ;2Cor 4.10
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. ;
12. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
Rom 8.17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. ;1Pet 4.13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. ;Mat 10.33
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. ;Marc 8.38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. ;Luc 12.9
But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. ;
13. If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Rom 3.3
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? ;Rom 9.6
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: ;Num 23.19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? ;
14. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
1Tim 5.21
I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. ;1Tim 6.13
I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; ;2Tim 4.1

15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
1Tim 4.7
But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. ;1Tim 6.20
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: ;Tit 1.14
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. ;
17. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
1Tim 1.20
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. ;
18. Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
1Tim 6.21
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. ;1Cor 15.12
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? ;
19. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ;Rom 8.35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ;Naum 1.7
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. ;Ioan 10.14-27

20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
1Tim 3.15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. ;Rom 9.21
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? ;
